The author demonstrates this using a coin-flip scenario where agents with different beliefs can coordinate. When they do, these geometric agents form coalitions aligned with additive decision-making. The finding suggests that in most realistic situations, these two supposedly competing frameworks produce nearly identical advice, with meaningful divergence only in rare edge cases like a single, final bet.
