Wesley Bell, reports The Guardian, won his Missouri House primary rematch against progressive former representative Cori Bush on Tuesday, ending her bid for a comeback. Bush, who opposes U.S. aid to Israel and accuses the country of genocide in Gaza, lost to Bell two years ago when pro-Israel groups spent millions supporting him. This victory represents a setback for pro-Palestinian candidates, who have otherwise gained ground in Democratic primaries recently.
