Video game maker EA bought by Saudi-led group for $55bn

The Guardian reports that Electronic Arts, maker of The Sims, Madden NFL, and Battlefield, has been acquired by Saudi Arabia's wealth fund and a group of investors for fifty-five billion dollars. The deal closed on Tuesday evening, following final regulatory approval from the European Union.
