Trump administration has paid back 60% of $165bn in tariff refunds

The Trump administration has refunded about one hundred billion dollars from tariffs the US Supreme Court ruled illegal, per The Guardian. That amounts to sixty percent of the one hundred sixty-five billion dollars originally collected under Trump's "liberation day" tariffs. Customs officials reported this refund figure to the US Court of International Trade on Tuesday.
