Instead, public sector buyers will weigh whether firms can help get young people into jobs, doubling that consideration as part of a push to cut the number of people not in education, employment, or training and to boost regional growth. Per The Guardian, government procurement contracts account for roughly ninety billion pounds of taxpayer money spent each year.
