Three Michigan races put the progressive movement's reach on display

Sunrise Movement co-founder Will Lawrence won his House primary by fifteen points in a battleground district, and State Representative Donavan McKinney is positioned to unseat fellow Democrat Shri Thanedar. The victories signal growing progressive strength in Michigan, with the Democratic Socialists of America, the Working Families Party, and the United Auto Workers all proving their considerable political muscle.
