UN rights chief alarmed by rise in Iran executions since March

The UN's human rights chief, Volker Türk, says he's alarmed by a surge in executions in Iran since March, with fifty-six people put to death on national security-related charges. Twenty-seven of those cases are linked to protests that took place in January, according to BBC World.
