SpaceX claims Starlink Mobile will be better than AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon

SpaceX is moving to compete directly against AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon by offering its own Starlink Mobile service. Per Ars Technica, the company bought spectrum licenses from EchoStar that include terrestrial components, which SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell said on an earnings call the company plans to build out. The service would combine satellite capacity with ground-based systems to create a complete mobile service.
