Nigerian security forces rescue more than 300 abductees

Nigerian security forces have rescued more than three hundred people who had been abducted, in what the government calls the country's largest single-day joint security operation. BBC News reports the rescue involved multiple branches of the security forces working together. Kidnapping for ransom has been a persistent security challenge in parts of Nigeria in recent years.
