The Guardian reports that a New South Wales anti-corruption inquiry has been shown text messages suggesting Angus Taylor, the federal opposition leader, either paid money to the Reformers—a hard-right factional group—or was refusing to. The messages were presented during a hearing involving Jean-Claude Perrottet, brother of a former state premier. Taylor has previously denied making payments to the group.
