Australian politician admits to sending text saying ‘my job is boring’ during a hearing

The Guardian reports that Mark Parton, the opposition leader in Australia's Capital Territory, admitted to sending a text during a parliamentary hearing that said, quote, 'fuck, my job is boring,' unquote. Parton denies the allegation that he sent it to a sex worker, and says he's a 'multi-tasker from hell.' The admission came after an anonymous complaint was referred to the Legislative Assembly's commissioner for standards.
