Ukraine strikes Russian oil refineries as Moscow continues attacks on Ukrainian cities – Europe live

Russia launched fresh overnight strikes on Ukraine, killing at least six people and injuring thirty-six in attacks on the eastern city of Balakliia and the northern Sumy region, The Guardian reports. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said his military struck back, hitting two Russian oil refineries in what he called a blow to the revenues Moscow uses to fund the war.
