DR Congo’s Ebola outbreak outpaces response efforts as health workers strike over pay

The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo is outpacing containment efforts, according to World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. France 24 reports that frontline health workers in Ituri province, the epicenter of the outbreak, have gone on strike over pay, further straining access to care.
