DR Congo’s Ebola outbreak outpaces response as health workers strike over pay

The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo is spreading faster than efforts to contain it, World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Wednesday. France 24 reports that in Ituri province, the epicenter of the outbreak, frontline health workers have gone on strike over pay, worsening access to care.
