Amiga and Commodore, Back Together (Sort Of)

Per Hackaday, Amiga Corporation has finalized licensing agreements with Commodore International Corporation and Hyperion Entertainment, untangling decades of fragmented intellectual property control. Eight-bit Commodore software is now licensed to Commodore International, allowing them to manufacture new Commodore 64s and related machines. Hyperion retains development of AmigaOS 4.x, while Amiga Corporation reassumes control of AmigaOS 3.x for classic Amigas at year-end twenty twenty-seven. For retro computing fans, it's a rare moment of clarity in an ecosystem that's long been scattered across multiple rights holders.
