Russia ramps up disinformation war as French presidential elections draw nearer

The interference has also reached Raphael Glucksmann, a left-wing European Parliament member and vocal Kremlin critic, and Edouard Philippe, the centrist ex-Prime Minister. As France prepares for its presidential election next year, this marks the latest in a series of Russian interference operations reported in recent weeks.
