Three days after a Ukrainian drone crashed on a beach at a Russian Black Sea resort, here’s what we know about the victims

Three days after a Ukrainian drone struck a beach at the Black Sea resort of Arkhipo-Osipovka, Meduza has pieced together who was lost. Seven people died, including a five-year-old girl named Sonya, who was vacationing with her mother, and a young boy, Maxim, whose family had traveled with them as close friends. A nurse from the St. Petersburg area who worked giving children therapeutic massage also died in the hospital the following morning. Meduza reports that several of the injured remain in serious condition, including an eleven-year-old girl now in a medically induced coma after doctors removed shrapnel from her chest.
