Diageo to nearly double Guinness production and shed jobs in turnaround plan

Diageo's new chief executive, Dave Lewis, has unveiled plans to nearly double Guinness production while cutting a significant portion of the company's thirty-thousand-strong workforce. Known as 'Drastic Dave' from his tenure at Tesco, Lewis was appointed last November to revive the UK drinks company after a period of flagging performance.
