According to Axios, Trump publicly defended Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Thursday, calling recent reports of friction between them "treasonous." The earlier reporting from the Washington Post and others had suggested Trump had reached his limits with Hegseth over the country's weapons stockpile and its impact on the war with Iran.
