Tesla headlights were twice as bright as legal

Per Boing Boing, Tesla disclosed to federal regulators that headlights on nineteen thousand nine hundred Model Three and Model Y cars were up to nearly twice as bright as legally allowed. Tesla has argued the defect is inconsequential to safety and should not require a fix.
