Moderna's mRNA flu shot earns FDA approval after rollercoaster review

health

Per Ars Technica, the FDA on Thursday granted approval for Moderna's mRNA flu vaccine, mFLUSIVA—marking the first such vaccine to win authorization. FDA advisors had unanimously backed the approval in June, though the vaccine's path remained uncertain given Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s known skepticism of vaccines.
