Hackaday reports that the solution uses spring-loaded adjustment mechanisms inspired by CNC machine design—specifically, the anti-backlash nuts found in precision equipment. After prototyping in plastic, the creator machined a final version, keeping the plastic adjustment screw in place. It's an elegant fix to a common nuisance.
