Harris County DA says independent investigation into fatal ICE shooting will cost $2.5 million

Harris County DA Sean Teare says an independent investigation into the fatal July shooting of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo by ICE agents will cost two point five million dollars. According to the Texas Tribune, Teare says his office may need to sue federal agencies just to obtain evidence, citing their lack of cooperation.
