GAO finds Elon Musk's DOGE inflated claims of $110 billion in savings for federal government

The nonpartisan Government Accountability Office has reviewed Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency, and CNBC reports the findings challenge DOGE's claimed impact. The GAO determined that the department's one hundred ten billion dollar savings figure was significantly overstated, and DOGE fell far short of its two trillion dollar federal spending reduction goal.
