Trump again rebukes Jeanine Pirro over reflecting pool ‘vandalism’ case

Trump on Thursday publicly attacked U.S. attorney Jeanine Pirro over her account of damage to the Lincoln Memorial's recently renovated reflecting pool. According to The Guardian, Pirro stated in a court filing that the damage came from a botched renovation, not vandalism. Trump disputed that characterization to NBC News, insisting there was tremendous vandalism and calling Pirro's statement a terrible mistake—one he said she had no good reason to make.
