Pacific nations fail to agree on statement condemning China missile test

China test-fired an intercontinental ballistic missile over the Pacific last month, with only short notice to a handful of nations, according to Channel NewsAsia. The rocket appeared to land in ocean waters between Solomon Islands, Nauru, and Tuvalu. Pacific nations, however, failed to agree on a joint statement condemning the test.
