Bodies of climbers killed in avalanche retrieved from Broad Peak

Search teams have recovered the bodies of renowned climber Nirmal Purja and several members of his team following an avalanche on Broad Peak, Al Jazeera reports. Purja, a former British special forces soldier, gained fame for setting speed records climbing the world's fourteen highest peaks. Broad Peak, the twelfth-tallest mountain on Earth, straddles the border between Pakistan and China in the Karakoram range.
