Announcing Cloudflare Ambassadors, Community Engineers, and another $1M in open-source funding

Cloudflare is launching an expanded community program with two main tracks: Ambassadors who bring the platform into their communities and Community Engineers who maintain open-source projects that power the internet. Cloudflare Blog reports that Ambassador applications are open through September sixth. Selected Ambassadors will receive credits, marketing assets, and technical resources for up to two years. Separately, Cloudflare is committing an additional one million dollars in funding to support open-source work over the next two years—on top of a one million dollar fund it announced for the Vite community. The company is also enhancing its Discord server, which has grown to nearly one hundred thousand members, by creating a community committee that connects developers with internal teams. Together, these efforts represent Cloudflare's acknowledgment that the developers who build and maintain open-source infrastructure deserve both recognition and financial support.
