US Senate narrowly confirms Todd Blanche as attorney general in overnight vote

The Senate confirmed Todd Blanche, President Trump's former personal lawyer, as attorney general on Saturday in a fifty to forty-nine vote. Blanche had been serving in the role on an acting basis after Trump fired Pam Bondi, another loyalist.
