world
A sacred talking drum called the Djidji Ayokwe—looted from Côte d'Ivoire by French colonial forces in nineteen sixteen—arrived in its home village on Friday for public viewing. The drum spent over a century in France before being repatriated in March, and locals are now seeing it for the first time since its return, according to RFI.
