The Hindu reports that an Iraqi Kurdish leader is in Damascus for talks on a Syrian Kurdish agreement. The discussions follow clashes back in January between Syrian Kurdish fighters and the country's new authorities, which led to a deal integrating Kurdish institutions and forces into the state.
