Outrage as woman jailed for three years after criticising Somali government online

A twenty-seven-year-old nursing graduate in Somalia has been sentenced to three years in prison for criticizing the government on social media. Sadia Moalim Ali was originally charged with insulting state institutions and inciting violence, but convicted only on the first charge.
