Current Europe heatwave 'impossible' without human-induced climate change

A new study examining this week's European heatwave has concluded that human-caused climate change is unequivocally responsible for the intense temperatures sweeping the continent. The research compared current conditions to previous extreme heat events in nineteen seventy-six and two thousand three. France has recorded its hottest day since records began in nineteen forty-seven, marking a significant new climate record. According to the analysis, without human-induced climate change, such extreme heat would be virtually impossible.
