Apple’s most powerful Macs might be waiting until 2027 for big processor upgrades

Apple is reshuffling its Mac processor roadmap. According to reporting from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the company won't release Pro or Max versions of the upcoming M6 chip. Instead, Apple plans to fast-track technologies it originally reserved for the M7 launch next year. The result: power users waiting until twenty twenty-seven for significant processor upgrades to the MacBook Pro and Mac Studio.
