Sall's chances at UN secretary-general role weakened after first vote

Per RFI, the race to succeed Antonio Guterres as United Nations secretary-general is heading toward a decision in October. So far, two African candidates—Senegal's Macky Sall and Uganda's Olara Otunnu—have failed to win sufficient support in an initial vote.
