Home Office ‘error’ leaves Italian man’s wife with no right to stay in UK

Per The Guardian, a thirty-three-year-old Italian engineer has been told by the Home Office that they made an error granting him settled status after Brexit. Fabio, who came to London in twenty eighteen to finish his doctorate and has built a career in energy and climate change, says he's followed all the rules. But the error means he can no longer sponsor his Brazilian wife to remain in the UK.
