Spain - Italy: Dispute grows over migration between EU countries

Per France24, Spain has begun checking travelers from Italy, in response to similar controls Italy imposed after a surge of migrants entered Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta. Madrid says most of those migrants were quickly returned and has accused Italy of allowing persistent irregular migration. The European Union says the border restrictions are temporary measures that will have no lasting impact on the Schengen zone.
