In lighter tech news, a developer has ported the original Word for Windows from the early nineteen-nineties to modern sixty-four-bit Windows by rewriting the code rather than using an emulator—though the licensing may be questionable. And finally, Quake is turning thirty this year, with Bethesda releasing a new chapter called Dawn of the Machine, available now for consoles and P-C.
