‘Body’ found in suitcase near Goulburn was actually lifelike doll with ‘bruises and grazes’

What police in New South Wales initially believed to be human remains discovered in a suitcase on a roadside near Goulburn turned out to be a lifelike doll bearing markings resembling bruises and grazes. The Guardian reports that officers were called to Wolgon Road in Oallen on Sunday afternoon following reports of a body. Police say the doll was remarkably realistic—convincing enough that it was initially mistaken for actual human remains.
