12 killed in Ukrainian drone strike on Russia’s Nizhnekamsk

A Ukrainian drone strike on Nizhnekamsk in Russia's Tatarstan region killed twelve people and injured thirty-nine, according to the regional head's press service. Officials say the city was one of several targets hit that morning across industrial and civilian sites. Tatarstan's head, Rustam Minnikhanov, declared mourning for those killed. Ukrainian and independent Telegram channels reported a fire at an oil refinery in the city, with one channel pointing to the Nizhnekamskneftekhim plant, part of an industrial zone that also includes a Tatneft refinery.
