SANS ISC researchers documented systematic probing of Solana blockchain API endpoints. Solana is a cryptocurrency platform used by developers for distributed applications and payment systems. The scans sent requests to port eighty using methods like getHealth and getVersion — standard techniques for fingerprinting which services are available. The activity also included searches for configuration files like dot-env, indicating attempts to locate exposed credentials and authentication keys.
