A powerful magnitude seven point four earthquake struck central and western Colombia on Monday morning, killing at least seventy people, El País reports. The Colombian Geological Service says the tremors began at seven thirty-four a.m. local time and lasted four minutes, with the epicenter in San José del Palmar, a rural, mountainous area in the Chocó department.
