Meta, other tech companies denied appeal over addiction lawsuits

Per Axios, a U.S. Appeals Court ruled on Monday that thousands of lawsuits against Meta, TikTok, and other social media platforms can proceed. The lawsuits allege that these platforms are addictive and harmful to young people. Tech companies had been fighting to block the cases over a period of years, but the court's decision denying their appeals now allows the litigation to continue.
