Marion County Election Board removes Lindsey Cornett from IPS school board ballot after challenge

Her opponent, Chris Bultman, who was recently appointed to the board, cleared the threshold by voting in Democratic primaries in twenty twenty and twenty twenty-six. The decision is among the earliest tests of Indiana's new partisan school board rules and could set a statewide precedent, reports Chalkbeat. The county clerk called the law 'as clear as mud.' Cornett isn't conceding. She's pursuing judicial review and may run as a write-in candidate before the August twenty-first deadline.
