Rocket Lab Unveils GHOST on a Record Quarter

tech

Rocket Lab unveiled GHOST, a deployable launch system packaged in standard shipping containers for responsive launches from anywhere worldwide. According to Payload Space, the announcement came alongside record second-quarter earnings: two hundred thirty-four million dollars in revenue, a sixty-two percent year-over-year increase, and a backlog of two point three six billion dollars. The company closed acquisitions of Mynaric and Motiv this quarter, while an Iridium purchase remains in progress. GHOST works with Rocket Lab's Electron and HASTE vehicles for orbital and suborbital launches, and will operationally debut in twenty twenty-seven from Alaska. The quarter also included over one billion dollars in new contracts, and founder Peter Beck positioned GHOST as critical to enabling sovereign launch capabilities and responsive defense.
