Supermassive Games, the UK studio behind Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology, is beginning redundancy consultations affecting up to seventy-five employees. Rock Paper Shotgun reports the move comes just three months after the studio released its horror game Directive eighty twenty, and represents the latest in a wave of layoffs across the games industry. Supermassive itself has been hit hard in recent years, with earlier redundancies in July twenty twenty-five and early twenty twenty-four resulting in around ninety positions lost.
