AgiBot passes Unitree as China's top humanoid exporter

China's humanoid robotics market is shifting in a big way. Shanghai-based AgiBot has surpassed fellow Chinese manufacturer Unitree to become the world's leading exporter, shipping eight thousand four hundred units in the first half of this year and claiming forty-four percent of the global market, according to Semafor. That single shipment exceeds all of Unitree's twenty twenty-five output, when Unitree held the top position. While China now accounts for ninety-seven percent of all humanoid shipments globally, the real competition may lie elsewhere — American and European labs are reportedly leading in developing the advanced artificial intelligence that powers these robots.
