AI computing power is becoming a tradable asset class as CME launches futures contracts

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange is establishing futures contracts for AI computing power, making it tradable as an asset class. According to CNBC, CME plans to launch two compute futures contracts on October fifth through a partnership with Silicon Data, pending regulatory approval.
