The new spending brings the PAC's total Michigan commitment to fifty-one million dollars — part of a twelve million dollar spending blitz across multiple Senate races this month. Republicans believe El-Sayed, who won the Democratic primary, presents a better opportunity to flip the seat than his primary opponent. The Senate Leadership Fund has now committed three hundred fifty-four million dollars total to key races this cycle.
