Progressive Peggy Flanagan has won Minnesota's Senate primary, the Guardian reports, in a race defined by anti-ICE sentiment. The Guardian also reports that two of Pete Hegseth's Pentagon Defense Policy Board appointees have venture capital ties to defense contractors: Marc Andreessen's firm Andreessen Horowitz co-invests in defense companies alongside 1789 Capital, a Trump-linked fund, while fellow appointee Blake Masters sits on boards of ventures tied to 1789 Capital.
